Technical Parts Support Specialist
Works with the sales force, customers and potential customers regarding the resolution of technical, scientific or engineering issues that affect the sales, installation and utilization of Raymond products and/or services. May propose changes in products and/or services that result in cost reductions and increased sales.
* Responds to routine and semi-routine technical inquiries from the worldwide Raymond Dealer Network.
* Frequently interfaces with internal and/or external customers in situations that often require high degrees of tact and discretion. Directs more difficult information requests to appropriate individuals.
* Maintains database and/or records, files, correspondence, etc., with appropriate supporting material. Update information as necessary.
* Provides support on special projects/accounts.
* Provides support for new product development as required. Reviews new product status to ensure proper start up inventory, field issues and make sure technical documentation is available before and after launch to support customer demands for part and technical support.
* Creates, invoices, and troubleshoots passkey numbers to enable software options for dealers and troubleshoots programmable circuit cards.
* May work with other departments to discuss equipment service and design issues.
* Performs related work as assigned.
