The Opportunity Joining a Fin Ops team & reporting directly to Head of Operations, the Finance Operations Manager will ensure that Samsung makes sound strategic decisions based on analysis and critical thinking, backed up by data. This position will work cross functionally and closely with sales management to track business metrics and develop financial processes for the Smart TV Ad business. He/she will work closely across Sales, Ad Operations, Headquarters, subsidiary Finance Teams, Engineering and Product to ensure a full end-to-end financial support on all aspects of the business. This position is based in the NYC office with domestic US travel and possible travel to Korea as needed. We are looking for a confident individual with expertise in sales finance who understands the importance of delivering excellent process, rigor and assisting in the acceleration of our sales revenue. Specific responsibilities include:
* Provide executive management with clear insights into drivers of the business and financial performance and risk; assess business/market opportunities and inform/recommend prioritization decisions.
* Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasting and regular reporting processes. Ensure accuracy and predictability of results and key metrics.
* Create and disseminate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales finance reporting and produce additional executive reporting as needed.
* Analyze and model business scenarios, architect metrics, solve problems, and influence executive decision-making.
* Develop rate cards, analyze product pricing, perform yield management analysis.
* Help set quotas for the salesforce and manage commission process to determine salesforce compensation.
* Work across product, ops, sales, and strategy to consult on planning, reporting and decision support for the entire range of business activities related to Smart TV advertising
* Manage P&L; and expenses related to the ongoing Smart TV advertising business including vendor and support agreements.
* Work directly with Sales Executives for Strategic Upfront Pricing for Large Advertisers
* Work with thirds party vendors and partners to negotiate and secure pricing that is necessary for our business.
* Billing and reconciliation processes
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Qualifications:
* 6 to 8+ years working in an organization that supports the Advertising Sales function with F100 brands.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting a positive
* Must be task driven & have the ability to produce and hit key deliverable deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong organizational skills required.
* Deep understanding of the digital advertising space, with knowledge of programmatic landscape, Connected TV & upcoming technologies, industry trends, and major players.
* Ability to manage and work effectively within cross-functional and matrix relationships
* Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills
