Administrative Coordinator
Responsibilities to Chief and supporting faculty of Cardiac Division. Coordination of calender, scheduling meetings, conference calls and other appointments. Facilitates Chief communication with key contacts including hospital administration, community organizations, colleagues and Staff. Acts as a central coordinator for the section and MSG related activities, including divisional meetings, retreats, CME courses and other related activities. Typical duties may be implementing administrative policies, maintaining record systems, participation in overall planning and organization, and direction or supervision of administrative staff; more specific duties such as oversight or coordination of purchasing, budget and financial reporting. May assist in the preparation of grant request and other reports.
Experience with managerial and administrative skills in a medical and/or academic environment. Excellent writing, verbal communication and relationship building skills. Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field and 2 years related experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
