There are five (5) Academic Year - Academic and Professional Advisor positions available
The Academic and Professional Advisor plays an important role in the work of the College of Arts and Sciences and Maxwell advising team.
This position will be a professional advisor serving undergraduate students who have declared a major.
Primary responsibilities include academic advising and career/professional and post-graduation planning.
This includes but is not limited to advising declared undergraduate students with regard to Liberal Arts Core and other curriculum requirements, helping students navigate the processes associated with their academic records and registration, guiding students to make progress toward degree for timely graduation, and helping students prepare for after graduation, with career and job search planning or the graduate school application process.
This role requires collaboration with the advising team, faculty, and departments to provide outstanding service to our students, supporting their academic and professional goals and timely completion of their degrees.
